![]() It can be less successful if there's a lot of vegetation intersecting with the sky, as picking out the sky with that sometimes also selects the edge of the vegetation, leaving an obvious border line when I paste it into the second copy. Then I can get the white balance right (sometimes auto white balance works beautifully, other times I have to use the white point picker in the levels tool). The trick is to add an alpha channel, then select the sky in the copy optimised for the building (I generally use fuzzy-select, then grow by 1px and feather by 3px) then delete it. Compare the before & after images here, and you'll see what I mean. With the right conditions, the result can be excellent. Plugins, Presets etc., are created when people start using the software. That said, its really amazing what this can do, and its free and open source.
